An Ex- Senior eminent scientist of CDRI, Lucknow Dr. Ranjana Srivastava won a Biotechnology Ignition Grant (BIG) of Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council (BIRAC), Department of Biotechnology, Government of India and established her company M/s Nextec Lifesciences Pvt. Ltd. at Biotech Park. Dr. Ranjana Srivastava, Director, Nextec Pvt Ltd. informed that the company will develop novel diagnostics kits for tuberculosis, disease of global concern.  The objective is to provide affordable kit for early diagnosis of the tuberculosis which will be helpful in treating the disease in initial stage.

On behalf of the Biotech Park, Lucknow Dr. P.K.Seth and on behalf of M/s Nextec Pvt. Ltd Dr. Ranjana Srivastava inked the agreement. Dr. V.P.Kamboj, Chairman, Advisor cum Monitoring Committee of Biotech Park, Dr. B.S. Srivatsava, Ex- Scientist, CDRI were also present during signing of agreement.
