Prof. Shekinah Challan of SEC welcomed Prof. Pramod Tandon, CEO, Biotech Park, chief guest. Prof Tandon delivered the inaugural address that stressed the need for sustainable utilization of rich bioresources for entrepreneurial activities and gainful self-employment in the North East India. Dr. Sylvanus Lamare, Principal, Dr. Samrat Adhikari and faculty members of St. Edmund’s College, Prof. Rishi Shanker and Mr. Shyam Kumar of Biotech Park were present.
Mr. R.K Vijay Byrsat, CEO, Colks Pvt. Ltd., expert faculty, in his interactive talk, shared his entrepreneurial journey, the need for networking and business strategies. Other expert faculty from academics, banking sector, Ideas to proposal writing, medicinal plants and traditional herbal products delivered lectures and interacted with participants. A range of activities such as puzzles, crossword, quizzes, idea presentation by participants, business model preparation and entrepreneurship were intrinsic components of the workshop. The programme concluded with certificate distribution and valedictory function.
